eBay Fee Structure (2026)

  • Final Value Fee (13.6%): Applied to the total amount paid by the buyer (item price + shipping). For sales above $7,500, the rate drops to 2.35% on the excess amount. Payment processing is included — no separate charge.
  • Per-Order Fee: $0.30 for orders $10 and under, $0.40 for orders over $10. Charged per transaction.
  • Promoted Listings Standard: Optional. You set an ad rate (1-20%) and only pay when the promoted item sells within 30 days of a click. Applied to total sale price including shipping.

Interpret the output

eBay's all-in fee is typically 14-15% of the sale price.

This is higher than Etsy (9.5-10%) but includes payment processing. Factor in Promoted Listings and you could be at 19-20%. Make sure your margins support it.
